Quicks Cottage is in the Hamlet of Trowan which lies just outside St Ives. It is just off the road to Zennor down a traditional Cornish lane.

Off the beaten track, but not remote, Trowan enjoys the best of both worlds. The attractions of the town are within easy reach, but its secluded position offers tranquility (and easy ample parking) during the busy summer periods.

From the A30 enter St Ives and then follow the B3311 towards Zennor. As you reach the edge of St Ives you will see St Ives Rugby Club on the right and the Round House (which is actually octagonal). Bear right at the Round House following the road (B3306).

Take the second Cornish lane on the right where you will see a Granite stone saying Folly Farm and a dead end sign, follow the lane to the car park and cottage.

Alternatively if you prefer to leave the car behind you can travel by rail and watch the glorious coast line roll past from the luxury of the train. There are excellent links from Paddington ,London, to Penzance Cornwall, where you can hop in a taxi or catch the local train line to St Ives.
